Make Recycling a Shore Thing: While on vacation in Cape May County help preserve our natural beauty and please remember to obey our mandatory recycling laws.  All towns in Cape May County recycle, and provide curbside collection.  Call the towns recycling office to find out the collection day at your location.  Most towns also have convenient drop-off locations.

WHAT CAN BE RECYCLED:

Paper: Newspapers, magazines, junk mail % corrugated cardboard.
Glass: Food and beverage bottles and jars.
Plastic: Food and beverage; soap, detergent and health/beauty containers that are marked “1” or “2” on the bottom. 
Aluminum & Steel Cans: Soda, beer, fruit, vegetable, pet & other food and beverage cans.  Empty aerosol cans (except paint)

HOW TO RECYCLE:

Paper: Place in paper grocery bag or corrugated cardboard box.
Bottles & Cans: Place these together in a container marked “Recyclables”. Do not place recyclables in plastic bags.
